GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY MARKS SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE AT ISM
After all the hard work, the Institute of Science and Management (ISM) had the ground breaking ceremony at its new building site on 31 July 2011 at 7.30 a.m. This historical moment was witnessed by a crowd of approximately 200 people. Mr and Mrs Teo Han Tong, who pledged to donate a sum of RM 5 millions to ISM building project was also present.

ISM, formerly known as the Sabah Chinese 'A' Level, was established in Tawau to fulfill the community's need for higher education. Founded on December 01 1990, the institute opened on December 01 1991 with 7 teaching staff and 40 students pursuing the GCE 'A' Level programme. In addition to the 'A' Level, ISM now also offers the Diploma in Business Studies and the ACCA's Certified Accounting Technician.
